Buddhist Pilgrimage with Cultural India Tour

Day 1 : Arrive Delhi

Arrive Delhi and met upon arrival and transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2 : Delhi / Lucknow – Lucknow / Sravasti (175 km. 4 – 4.5 hrs.)

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast departure transfer to domestic airport to board flight for Lucknow. Arrive Lucknow and lunch at a local restaurant. Drive to Sravasti. Arrive Sravasti and check into a hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 : Sravasti / Lumbini (225 km. 5 – 6 hrs. )

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning sightseeing of Sravasti. Drive to Lumbini. Arrive Lumbini and check into a hotel for Lunch. Sightseeing of Lumbini. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 4 : Lumbini / Kushinagar (181 km., 4 – 4.5 hrs.)

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast drive to Kushinagar. Arrive Kushinagar and check into the hotel for lunch. After lunch sightseeing of Kushinagar. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 5 : Kushinagar / Vaishali / Patna, (350 km. 7 – 8 hrs.)

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Patna en route sightseeing of Vaishali. Hot lunch in between. Arrive Patna and check into the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6 : Patna / Nalanda / Rajgir / Bodhgaya, (182 km.)

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Bodhgaya. Enroute sightseeing of Nalanda and Rajgir. Arrive Bodhgaya and check into the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7 : Bodhgaya / Varanasi, (275 km, 7 – 8 hrs.)

Breakfast at the hotel. Sightseeing of Bodhgaya. Drive to Varanasi. Lunch en route. Arrive Varanasi and check into the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8 : Varanasi / Khajuraho

Morning takes a Boat cruise at the river Ganges to observe the way of life of pilgrims by the Ghats. Back to hotel for breakfast. Later sightseeing of Sarnath. Transfer to airport to board flight for Khajuraho. Arrive Khajuraho and check into the hotel for lunch. Afternoon tour of Khajuraho temple. Evening dances of India show. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 9 : Khajuraho / Orchha (4 hrs.) – Orchha / Jhansi / Agra

Breakfast at the hotel. Later proceed for Orchha. Lunch at the hotel in Orchha. Sightseeing of Orchha. Transfer to Jhansi railway station to catch the train for Agra. Arrive Agra and check into the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10 : Agra

Breakfast at the hotel. Full day sightseeing of Agra and the Taj Mahal. Lunch and dinner at the hotel.

Day 11 : Agra / Jaipur (6 hrs.)

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Jaipur. Enroute sightseeing of Fatehpur Sikri. Lunch at a local restaurant. Arrive Jaipur and sightseeing of Amer Fort. Check into hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 12 : Jaipur / Delhi, (6 hrs)

Breakfast at the hotel. Sightseeing of the City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal and the city. Lunch at a local restaurant. Drive to Delhi. Arrive Delhi and check into the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 13 : Delhi / Onward destination

Breakfast at the hotel. Sightseeing of Delhi. Lunch at a local restaurant. Evening transfer to airport to board flight for onward destination.
