Depending on river levels and official operating conditions, the route can include famous rapids such as Three Blind Mice, Return to Sender, Roller Coaster, Golf Course and Club House, along with supervised body surfing or cliff-jump opportunities where permitted. The final day adds a basic rock-climbing or rappelling session when operational before departure. Day-wise Itinerary
Day 1Arrival in Rishikesh, Shivpuri Camp & Introductory Rafting+
Arrive in Rishikesh and meet the local adventure team for transfer to a licensed camp near Shivpuri. After check-in, lunch and a detailed safety orientation, drive toward the approved Marine Drive-side rafting point. Once the guides complete equipment checks and river commands briefing, begin an introductory rafting run toward the Shivpuri area, subject to current river levels and operating permissions. Depending on the approved stretch, the run may include rapids such as Three Blind Mice and Crossfire along with supervised body surfing where conditions permit. Return to camp for refreshments, an evening campfire or group activities where allowed, dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2Shivpuri to Rishikesh White-Water Rafting+
After breakfast, gear up for the main rafting day and attend another safety briefing before entering the Ganges at the approved Shivpuri start point. Paddle downstream with professional guides through the classic Rishikesh white-water section, where the route may include rapids such as Return to Sender, Roller Coaster, Golf Course and Club House depending on river conditions and the stretch currently authorised. Supervised body surfing and cliff-jump opportunities may be offered only where the guide and local rules consider them safe. Finish near Rishikesh, transfer back to camp, enjoy lunch and leisure or camp games, followed by dinner and an overnight stay near Shivpuri.
Day 3Rock Climbing / Rappelling & Departure+
After breakfast, take part in a basic instructor-led rock-climbing or rappelling session at an approved activity site when operational and included in the confirmed programme. Safety equipment and technique briefing are provided before participation. Return to camp for lunch or refreshments, check out and transfer to Rishikesh for your onward journey, concluding the Ganges River Rafting adventure.
